Mr. Ilias Psarris was born in Karditsa, Greece, grew up in Athens, and has been attracted to dental technology since the beginning of his professional career in 1985.

He has been trained extensively at Degussa's development laboratories in Germany and at Metaux Precieux SA Metalor in Switzerland, dealing with alloys and their structure, casting methods, attachments and, telescopic crowns.

Mr. Psarris' training continued with Creation's metal ceramic systems at Mr. Willi Geller's laboratory in Switzerland. In addition he was in charge of Creation's pilot laboratory in Greece for 4 years.

Furthermore he has been thoroughly trained at ceramic materials with Shofu of Japan, at Mr. Dominique Olivier's laboratory in France.

For the last 15 years Mr. Psarris has been Shofu' s opinion leader-evaluator in Greece and has been a member of the development team for the company's materials by participating in international workshops, among selected pilot laboratories for this purpose.

Mr. Psarris' laboratory in Ano Glyfada, Greece, specializes in all-ceramic and implant restorations.
Mr. Psarris has been presenting seminars for the past several years, to dental technicians in his laboratory on pentinent subjects, has been a frequent speaker on dental technology, at home and abroad, and has published numerous articles in pertinent journals and magazines.

Mrs. Maria Giannakidou was born in Athens, Greece and completed her studies, by earning successive scholarships, at the School of Dental Technology at the Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I) of Athens.

After her graduation, she attended a full course for Brånemark implant restorations at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, England.

Mrs. Giannakidou has been working together with her husband, Mr. Ilias Psarris, and is specializing in metal ceramics and all-ceramic restorations as well as in the use of CAD/CAM systems.

She frequently participates in conferences and delivers presentations with her husband at home and abroad.

Her husband and Mrs. Giannakidou, for the past several years, have been giving hands-on presentations, in their laboratory to dental technicians on pertinent subjects.

She has been one of the international evaluators of Shofu, Japan, participating in international workshops-benchmarks.

Their laboratory is among the few selected pilot laboratories from around the world, for the development of Shofu’s materials.

The final product is always a result of cooperation and team work of everybody involved in our laboratory.Patients are at the epicenter of our effort, and our goal is to get the best possible result for each and every one of them.

In our laboratory various educative seminars are being held:

  • A course of 4 successive presentations -one per month- which covers almost all aspects of dental technology, from the stomatognathic system to all ceramic, metal ceramic and implant restorations, details in the Greek version,
  • A 2-day, hands-on, seminar ,concerning porcelain build up in combination with function and handling of the occlusion (the first series of seminars is a prerequisite).
    This seminar is taking place at CDE educational center in Munich, Germany.
  • Porcelain build-up for all ceramic and metal ceramic restorations with ceramic materials of SHOFU,
  • Veneers with the refractory die technique with ceramic materials of SHOFU,
  • Seminars for restorations with e.max press system.
  • Through these seminars we have developed a support liaison system for many colleagues from all over Greece and Cyprus, and have been operating as a technical advisory team to our colleagues for all kinds of problems and questions on pertinent subjects.
  • Laboratory

Our lab is located in Ano Glyfada,a suburb of Athens, and is equipped with up to date equipment and materials of the latest technology.

We have given a special attention so that the lab's working environ-ment is as pleasant as possible for both our visitors and ourselves.

Our target is the reproduction of prosthetic restorations with competent functionality and aesthetics, taking into account the desire and persona of every patient visitor.
